报告人简介： 周麒，南开大学陈省身数学研究所教授，2012年毕业于南京大学，取得博士学位。曾在巴黎六大，巴黎七大，美国uci大学进行博后研究。后在南京大学工作， 于2017年获江苏省特聘教授。主要研究领域为动力系统与数学物理，所取得的成果发表在

Duke Math J, Comm Math Phys,  Transcations AMS, International Math. Research Notices等杂志上。

报告摘要：We survey the recent advances of almost reducibility and its applications in the spectral theory of one dimensional quasi-periodic Schrodinger operators, especially to the most important example, almost Mathieu operator. This is mainly joint work with A. Avila and J. You.
