Perverse sheaves are fundamental objects at the crossroad of algebraic topology and algebraic geometry, with important applications in representation theory and combinatorics. In this series of lectures, I will provide an introduction to perverse sheaves and decomposition theorem.

刘永强教授于2009年获得中国科学技术大学学士学位，2015年获得中国科学技术大学博士学位。刘永强教授现任职于中国科学技术大学几何与物理研究中心，主要的研究方向为代数拓扑与代数几何。
