报告人简介：Jun Kigami是东京大学应用分析及复动力系统系教授，是《分形上的分析》作者。主要研究分形几何的基础理论。

报告内容简介:

I will explain how one can construct Laplacians and associated diffusions on certain class of self-similar sets. I will start with the Sierpinski gasket, which was the first non-trivial self-similar set on which ``Brownian motion’’ was constructed. I will explain  the construction of ``Brownian motion’’ and harmonic functions, asymptotical behavior of eigen values of the associated Laplacian and the heat kernel. If time allows, I would like to explain more general scheme of construction on general self-similar sets.
