*讲座内容简介:

We study the dynamics of two-species competition model in advective, patch environment. Organisms can move between connected patches, and they are also subject to the passive, directed drift from “upper stream” patch to “down stream” patch. A complete understanding is given for the two-patch case. We will mainly discuss three-patch models, each with distinct network topology. Little is known about general n-patches. This talk is based on joint works with Hongyan Jianf and King-Yeung Lam.

*主讲人简介:

楼元教授1984-1991年就读于北京大学数学系,获学士和硕士学位。1991-1995年就读于美国明尼苏达大学数学系并获博士学位。他曾在MSRI1995-96年)和芝加哥大学(1996-98年)做博士后,1998-2021年任教于俄亥俄州立大学数学系,曾任美国数学生物研究所副所长,现为上海交通大学数学科学学院讲席教授。 研究兴趣是反应扩散方程及在生物学中的应用,发表学术论文130余篇,目前担任CSIAM-AMJ. Differential EquationsJ. Math. Biol.SIAM J. Appl. Math.等多个国内外期刊编委以及DCDS-B系列的共同主编。
