We will talk about various building blocks of vertex operator algebras, and some recent progress in this respect.

姜翠波，上海交通大学特聘教授，博士生导师，主要从事李理论与表示理论研究，在J. Reine  Angew. Math.，Adv.   Math.  Trans. AMS.等知名期刊发表学术论文。姜翠波教授作为第一完成人获得2017年上海市自然科学奖二等奖，主持国家自然科学基金8项。
