In this talk, we will introduce the properties of positive solutions to some kinds of the elliptic equation in unbounded cylinder with zero boundary condition. After establishing an Aleksandrov-Bakelman-Pucci maximum principle in unbounded cylinder, the solution spaces can be classified. In particular, we will show that one solution space where the solution is exponential growth at one end is one


dimensional, the other solution space where the solution is exponential decay at the another end is also one dimensional. These are some joint work with Lidan Wang and Lihe Wang.

周春琴,上海交通大学教授,博士生导师。研究方向为非线性偏微分方程及其应用,在椭圆偏微分方程解的存在性、正则性理论,调和映射的正则性理论等方面取得了许多重要的研究成果。相关工作发表在Ann. Inst. H. Poincaré Anal. Non Linéaire, Calc. Var. Partial Differential Equations, Comm. Partial Differential Equations, J. Differential Geom., J. Funct. Anal., J. Math. Pures Appl., Math. Ann. 等杂志上。
