摘要:In this series of talks, we will first review the theory of classical theta lifting and then introduce its arithmetic version. We will explain how to use such construction to prove cases of the Beilinson-Bloch conjecture, which is a generalization of B-SD, for higher dimensional motives. Under certain natural hypothesis, we will prove a formula, called the arithmetic inner product formula, which generalizes the Gross-Zagier formula to higher dimension. The arithmetic part of these talks are mostly based on my thesis and a very recent joint work with Chao Li. For prerequisite, we will assume some basic knowledge about Shimura varieties and automorphic forms on classical groups.
