Abstract: The networked systems have significantly transformed our modern technology and society. In this talk, we focus on the cybersecurity challenge involved with these systems. It will be shown that Paillier cryptosystem can be exploited to improve the privacy of individuals in consensus-based networks, which is one of the most greatly studied types of networks.  It will be explained that under which conditions information privacy of an individual can be guaranteed and when there will be leak of private data.
